How we use your data when you take part in Frontera-led research

This notice explains how Frontera Vie Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses and protects your personal data if you are invited to take part in research – for example interviews, advisory boards, workshops, co-creation sessions or online studies.

This applies only to research participation, not general website use. For general privacy information, please see our main Privacy Policy.

1. What data we collect

If you take part in research with us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email, sometimes job title or role
  • Demographic or role-based info: e.g., country, specialty or professional context (never more than strictly necessary)
  • Views, experiences or feedback: shared during interviews, surveys or workshops
  • Recordings or transcripts: only with your explicit consent

All insights are anonymised before being reported to clients unless we have your clear, informed agreement to attribute a quote.

2. How and why we use your data

We use your data only to:

  • Conduct the research you have explicitly agreed to join
  • Analyse insights to inform healthcare strategies, solutions or communications
  • Deliver findings to the client or project sponsor (always anonymised unless you agree otherwise)

We never sell your data.We never use it for unrelated marketing or profiling.

3. Legal basis

We process your data under:

  • Consent: you choose to take part and may withdraw at any time
  • Legitimate interest: for research conducted with responsible safeguards, where your rights are fully protected

You can opt out or withdraw fully at any moment without giving a reason.

4. Who your data is shared with

Your data may be shared only with:

  • Our internal research and project teams
  • Carefully selected partners supporting delivery (e.g., research ops, translators)
  • The commissioning client – only in anonymised or aggregated form, unless you explicitly agree otherwise

We never share identifying data without your consent.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Review, correct or delete your data
  • Withdraw consent and stop participation immediately
  • Request confirmation of how your data has been used
  • Make a complaint to the ICO (www.ico.org.uk), if you feel your data has not been handled correctly

6. Data security & storage

We store your information securely and only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the research or comply with legal requirements.

We apply strict access controls and research-grade data safeguards at all times.
